I went into a shop today and looked on a clothes rail. Is it me or
is current 'fashion' designed to make you look like a glum, baggy
extra from a BBC WW2 costume drama.
I know I am a jeans type - but if the alternative is a brown ruched
nylon above the knee skirt or some kind of vile spotty big girls
blouse that ties on the HIPS! Then I'll stick with denim (and some
pre-Columbian Primark jewellery.)

I walked down the street the other day behind a bottom that was trying to escape from some white jeans. Beside the escape artist was a pair of legs that were designed not to ever be seen in daylight. I think they were being fashionable!
Someone ,who shall be nameless, or called something lemoney, told my wife when she was about 45 that she should start wearing 'good tweeds'.She stuck with black and will think about tweeds if they still exist when she is 107.
